Fig Tree News TeamBahamas Group Involved In Historic $300 Million Deal

The signing of the heads of agreement marks the first significant tourist investment of a Bahamian group in the Bahamas.

Government yesterday announced the signing of a historic heads of agreement for a $300 million resort in Eleuthera.

Government entered into a heads of agreement with Eleuthera Properties for the development of a five-star resort community with facilities and amenities, including a marina at Jack's Bay and the marina at Davis Harbour.

The signing of the heads of agreement marks the first significant tourist investment of a Bahamian group in the Bahamas.

The undertaking is led by Franklin Wilson and Eleuthera business man Albert Sands, and is being managed by Wim Steenbakkers, former manager of the Coral Sands Hotel on Harbour Island.
