|Fig Tree News Team||Local councillor Harvey Roberts reports that Andrew Johnson and team are working hard to complete the renovation of the Briland Park's harbourfront sports site:
"Morning Kim ...
Just passed by the Park about half hour ago and noticed that the kiddies park is just about complete and it looks smashing with the swings, slides etc.
I want to thank the persons who donated the monies for
these equipment, and to thank Andrew Johnson who spent the weekend with the workmen out of Nassau who installed the play-ground over two days.
They were there working very, very late on Friday night and most of Saturday."
THANKS FOR THE KIDDIES PARK.
The Briland Modem Fund thanks the generous members of our community who continue to support the buildout of the tennis court and basketball court clubhouse complex on Bay Street with their donations of time and money.

The children and youth of Harbour Island continue to benefit from the teamwork skills being taught on site.
The complex will be completed in time to host the second annual NBA Summer Clinic, hosted by many of today's top stars in U.S. professional basketball, and attracting youth from all over Eleuthera and Harbour Island.
Your donations to the Briland Park project are fully tax-deductible when made via the Briland Modem Fund, which is a registered U.S. not-for-profit community foundation. For more information, please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
