With a Grade Point Average of 3.72, Alicia Pinder is indeed one of the finest, smart kids at the Spanish Wells All-Age School, in Eleuthera, and one who has been at the top of her class her entire time at the institution.
Described as a well-rounded student who is devoted to her studies, officials at the school say that Alicia can be considered a role model to the other students.
She has also been described as a well-rounded person, who not only makes time to ensure that she is academically sound, but participates on the baseball team, and plays the saxophone in the community band.
Alicia, whose favorite subject is Mathematics, is looking forward to taking her Bahamas Junior Certificate Examinations, and proposes to sit the maximum of seven offered by her school - Mathematics, English Language, Religious Studies, Social Studies, Health Science, General Science and Home Economics. Of course, being the smart kid she is, Alicia is expecting to ace them all.
As the daughter of Chuck and Suzy Pinder looks ahead to her future, Alicia currently has her sights set on becoming a pediatrician.
