Big Slick"The Parliamentary Commissioner of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas has announced that the Free National Movement is the official winner of the 2007 General Election, winning 23 seats to the Progressive Liberal Party's 18 seats.

Governor General of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas His Excellency Arthur D. Hanna has phoned Prime Minister-Elect the Rt. Hon. Hubert Alexander Ingraham and invited him to form the next government of The Bahamas on Friday, May 4, 2007, at which time Mr. Ingraham will be officially sworn in as Prime Minister at Government House, Nassau, New Providence."
