ColinBest to everyone from the gorgeous Sunshine Coast of Australia! This is one of the few places I've ever been that rivals -- in some ways -- Briland. Negatives -- no pink sand, predictable pop music, intense urbanization. Positives -- GORGEOUS and enormous beaches with big surf, GORGEOUS people, almost as friendly as Briland (just say the word Obama and watch people light up!), superb fish and better cooking than Briland (except Miss Rika, of course)

Happy New Year to all and hope your Christmas was lovely.

Colin in Caloundra (Queensland)

Disclosure -- I am married to an Aussie....
