ďIn a country filled with crime and lawlessness,
What does it mean to be decent?"

Decent is when people are nice and treat others with respect. People who are decent behave good, dress properly and clean, they listen to their parents, teachers and adults and they follow the good rules of their house, school, church and country.

Our country, The Bahamas, could be a better place if you behave in a decent way and by doing some of these things:

Always behave well in public.

Be honest and do not thief, lie and kill.

Donít say bad words, speak well and donít be loud.

Have respect for others.

Study and learn.

Be a kind loving person.

Share some of Godís blessings with your community.

Have pride.

Keep your country clean.
