Fig Tree News TeamSedale Pennerman, Briland leader of the Musical Mystics Junkanoo Group's brass section reports that the Junkanoo committee is in the process of building a junkanoo shack in time for the December 2010 Boxing Day celebration.

The guys are hoping to get few missing instruments donated, and hope to find a trumpet, trombone and sousaphone to rehearse with. Can any of you help with new or gently-used musical instruments?

Your donation to the Junkanoo committee via the Briland Modem Fund is tax deductible, so let us know at your earliest convenience.

Note from Sedale:

"The guys and I will be more then happy if you can assist us in these couple tingss. You can check http://www.facebook.com/l/63032;www.amazon.com to look at them they are very reasonable. Thanks alot from the boys and me."
