KimberlyIncidentally, Sgt. Howie Pinder, who inspired the complete revamp of the Boys Brigade band when he was originally assigned to cover the Harbour Island precinct several years back, is consulting with the Zulus this year and commuting from Central Eleuthera each week to supervise. Zulus co-chair Duke Davis reports the recent purchase of six new French horns.

KimberlyReporting on the Briland scene, the Mystics and the Zulus are shaping up for a fierce band competition this year, with both groups showing a lot of performance and choreography tenacity at their frequent practices. The sounds of Junkanoo rushout have been filling the island for weeks now ... congrats to organizers for both enthusiastic groups!
