JEFL | Hi everyone:
My first time posting to the Message Board - thanks for all the good feedback on this site. I will be staying in Nassau with my wife in March for our 10 yr.- interested in coming to Harbour Island for a surprise 1-Day getaway. Looking for any and all feedback / recommendations regarding transportation and things to do for a 1-Day trip. Would plan on leaving Nassau in the a.m. and return sometime in the p.m. Any thoughts on best way for roundtrip? Charter small plane or commercial flight? As to spending the day on the Island, I've done some reading on this site as well as others as to what there is to do - however, I am looking for any and all recommendations. Trying to make this as nice and fun of a surprise for my wife as I can. She likes the beach and relaxing, likes the spa, likes to shop and likes to sight see - but, a pretty picky eater. I was hoping to try and keep expenses below $1,000 for this 1-Day surprise trip. Any and all help or comments would be greatly appreciated - thank you in advance. Jeff |
