Briland Modem Fund TeamFirst up: community computer centers for the townships in Eleuthera ...

Looking for a few good people on Eleuthera and Harbour Island:

45 computers are on their way to Harbour Island to outfit the brand-new computer centers in Hatchet Bay, James Cistern, and Lower Bogue, and to complement those centers already set up in Bluff and Gregory Town.

Please e-mail info@briland.com if you’re interested in becoming an active part of the working Eleuthera Economic Development Board/Briland Modem Fund committee on Eleuthera, so that we can get the centers properly set up and ready for viewing by our sponsors at Rotary Club East Nassau [who donated the computers], IBM Nassau [who is planning to host training workshops] and Amoury Company [who is set up to do tech support for the centers] and the media [who has already inquired as to the open houses' schedule] when the computer centers open.

Another 70 computers are set for delivery in June, and so that it is imperative that we establish the working team on Eleuthera as soon as possible. Thanks to our sponsors Rotary Club East Nassau [computers], IBM Nassau [computer training] and Amoury Company [center tech support], we are that much closer to our dream of bringing computer literacy and access to the community of Eleuthera.

Your assistance is invaluable as this community development project gets underway, and we look forward to working with you --
