Fig Tree News TeamBay Street, in front of The Landing
Dunmore Town, Harbour Island

Local Bahamian artists ** painters, sculptors, musicians and writers from Harbour Island and Eleuthera ** will again showcase their latest works on the bayside this month, and invite you to take a look at their current projects. You’ll meet painter Dorothy Rahming [Governor’s Harbour]; novelist George Major [“Romance, Kalik and Conch Salad” - Tarpum Bay], singer Ithalia Johnson, master craftsman Karen Goodfellow [Governor’s Harbour] and folk artist Iris Lewis [Harbour Island], with many more such creative folks planning to exhibit their works of art.

Please browse the harbourside on Saturday, 28 June from 10:00a – 5:00p. Bahamian refreshments will be available, and proceeds from the arts showcase will benefit the Briland Modem Fund computer centers on Eleuthera and Harbour Island.

For more information about the show or to register as an artist to participate in the island showcase, please see Iris Lewis at Shells & T’ings, 333 2839
