myviewsI would like to respond to the article about the teachers.
First let me remind u the Bible says Parents trained your child, not teachers train your child. What the parents failed to understand here is that teachers are NOT babysitters and teachers should have a life after 3pm.
We as parents cannot get our children to read a book or complete home work , how do we expect the teachers to. At our school there are some dedicated teachers and some who has made a tremendous change in our kids lives. For instance, Grade six was extremely active this year since the arrival of Miss Eleanor Hield. At one point I was getting tired helping my child, but it really paid off and I'm sure what he did and learned in grade six, he will remember for the rest of his life.
If you check the school all year round you would know that there were evening classes in grade 1,2,3,4and 6. So obviously you are not actively involve in your child education.
GET FOCUS. Who are responsibile for your child? You or the teacher.
