Ok Guys it's time to press on with those preparations. Especially the Southern Islands.

Hurricane Shelters are being prepared. An Emergency Meeting Yesterday has npw activated all shelters and preparations are being made to ready them for the storm.

Voluteers and personell such as the Defense Force And Department of Social Service Workers are being deployed this morning to family islands to assist in the preparations and recovery after the storm.

Persons are being asked to secure their personal properties before assisting in the nations preparedness.

The National Disaster Committee Nema has activiated their command centers as the islands are on alert for Hurricane Frances.

To Forum members if you need info from nassau post it and we will see if we can get answers for you. If you are in Nassau and not gerttin the info you need post.

Us Southern Command is assisting our National Disaster Committee along with FEMA.

If you need to know a shelter in your area please post will put them up later today after the final inspections are done.

If you need a ride to a shelter please post . will get all numbers confirmed today and will post them.

If you know of seniors that live alone please let us know so that they can be assisted.

By the way you animal lovers you need to secure those pets.

Persons with Medical Needs such as Dialysis you need to check the hospital. Those with medical problems and special medicine needs you need to get a month supply of your medication on had and remember to put them in a plastic bag for protection.
