I was reviewing the sites that are up for the annual web awards and came across this site and was delighted. You see I was born in Briland on a hot August day in 1957. I have fond and precious of my birthplace and regret that I am not able to get home as often as I would like. It is good to know that I can keep in touch through this medium. It is with joy that I greet the news of a new fig tree planted in the same spot where the old tree existed. I have memories of my late grandfather, Richard Higgs of Pitt Street, sitting under that tree along with his companions conversing on a range of issues and exchanging, I suppose, stories of the sea. I certainly will bookmark this site to keep in touch and will certainly vote for you to receive the web award for your category.
