KimberlyThere used to be a proscription against bringing any poultry in, given that it has historically always been plentiful around here ... but am not so sure in light of the recent hurricane damage to some of the country's biggest poultry farms.

wolfpackWe've been to the island many times but not since 2000. Are there any new restrictions on bringing a cooler with frozen meat from the US into the Bahamas? We have brought coolers in many times in the past but I wanted to make sure nothing had changed.

I know that fruits/vegetables are prohibited, but any information on other food restrictions would be helpful.

Thanks.
