Glen Hanna and Ramon Kerr,
Detective Corporals,
Royal Bahamas Police Force

Dear Glen and Ramon,
Many thanks for your great help in assisting Linda and me after we lost our passports and all credentials while visiting Nassau. In fact if it had not been for your kindness I am not sure how we would have recovered enough to continue our vacation plans visiting Bimini and Harbour Island, let alone get back into the United States through Customs.

In particular we are grateful for you taking us to downtown Nassau from the airport to cancel our credit cards and begin the process of contacting a bank to withdraw enough funds to continue travelling.

For that we consider your actions as heroism. Incidentally, another one of your police officers found our passport folios and turned them into the U.S. Customs. The consideration and help given us reflects immensely on the kindness and courtesy which your police and detective forces must give to others visiting the Bahamas.

Please plan to visit us in the States or Bimini if you ever decide to travel in those directions. You must plan to stay with us so we can catch up on your activities since we last saw one another.

Best wishes,
Jack T. Landes and Linda Rippey
