If you have kids under 10 I would go with a cart. Little ones and groceries and walks to end of island can get mighty long for little legs.

smittySince you're not getting any numbers I'll give you a few very approximates.A two seat cart will run you about 300 a week.The last time I rented a whaler was a loooong time ago and it was 55 for half a day. Take these numbers with a grain of salt. I haven't been to the island in a few years and I'm positive they've changed some, but at least you have some idea.Their are both land and water taxis available.Have fun.

NorinThe island is small, you might consider walking, unless you are staying a ways from town. We've been doing it for 43 years! What's the rush?
