luxbrilandOur very own, my close friend, Chico is now taking his music to new
heights. Chico has done extremely well during his tenure in Australia -
his music is now being appreciated on a global level. He is scheduled
to open Boyz-2-Men concert in Melbourne, Australia this summer. His
first album will also drop this November and will undoubtedly do
extremely well.

Here is a short bio from his MySpace page (please do visit, see link
below): "Twenty-four year old Chico from Harbour Island, Bahamas, has
undeniable talent on a global scale. Having lived his life in the US
and the other on the beautiful Caribbean island, Chico now finds himself
in Melbourne, Australia where he continues to further his musical
ambitions. He first fell in love with music at the age of 4 when his
mother introduced him to the likes of Otis Redding, Marvin Gaye, and
Percy Sledge. He started singing at 12 years old on the blocks of
Winterhaven, Florida. Since then he has been inspired by artist such as
Tank, Joe, Musiq Soul Child, Craig David, Mary J Blige, Donell Jones,
all of the Motown artists from the 60's through to the 80's and his
sister Ithalia Johnson - a brilliant alternative/soul musician and
Chico's major musical influence.

Show your support, feel free to post on his wall. A must hear are
"YOU Remix" and "The Recruit" (My two personal favorites!)

Kind regards, Otis
