The spanish inquisitionWow. That sucks.
The only thing I can recommend is to complain to the higher ups if possible. see if you can talk the the bosses and stuff like that.
Don't get the run around from receptionists and the like.

ash12yes i have them all into ups backup power supplies,,but chris lewis discovered that there was a problem at the pole in front of my house. a neutral line was broken,,causing too much power going into my house. all of my ups backups got fried also including 4 desktop computers and 1 laptop. a freezer and my fridge, a few alarm clocks and a microwave! BEC gave me the run around.

The spanish inquisitionAsh, are you plugging your AC directly into the wall?

If so, you should try a GOOD, heavy duty surge protector.
not simply a power strip)

If you're using a surge protector, and still loosing ACs, you should look into buying a battery backup/Uninterruptible Power Supply/UPS that is strong enought to handle your AC.

Make sure it's an online ups (an online ups has an internal power supply.)

Big SlickInstead of speaking negatively about WW2 veterans rather. The BEC situation on HI is still rediculous though.
