|Fig Tree News Team||Word coming in suggests that all ports and airports in the Bahamas are now effectively closed, courtesy of a work stoppage by Bahamian Customs and Immigration officials, in tandem with the air traffic controllers in nassau. There are suggestions that hotel workers, doctors and nurses will participate in the shutdown, but these rumours have not been substantiated to date.
