TessJudy--Thanks to all the friends of the library who made the Halloween readings a success. Our group was a little on the young side, but mesmerized, just the same! Also, we have some great pictures of the "witches" I'll be glad to email you if you send me an address!

JudyYes, there will be "stories" on the Library Steps and under the Old Banyan Tree on Friday, October 31, 5 to 6 p.m. The Library is not open for business yet, but we have 4 new, great Halloween books to share - plus an excerpt from a very familiar writer's play. Doddie Holtzman will read from "MacBeth", Act IV, Scene I, by William Shakespeare. Everyone is invited to come and hear some wonderful creative books - geared to children but grown ups will enjoy the fun too!! Drop by and join us. Two large pumpkins will light the way!!!
