JudyCome, See Our Progress!! Tuesday, November 11 at 6:30 p.m. The Library Restoration Committee invites everyone to the Sir George W. K. Roberts Memorial Library to a "Show and Tell" type meeting to see what we have accomplished in ONE year. Yes, it is almost exactly one year to the day that we began. We encourage you to be there and promise that you will be surprised. Six thirty to seven p.m. you will have an opportunity to look around, ask questions, catch our first Book Festival on tape, and view copies of the proposed Constitution for establishing the "Friends of the Library" which will be the backbone and governing organization for the reopened library. Books are beginning to be placed on the shelves!
Agenda for the meeting: 1. Update and Info + Security 2. Reopening 3. Financial Report 4. Vote on the "Friends of the Library" Constitution 5. Librarian Orientation & Training 6. "What's Next"? --- All these are important topics to cover. This is your library - be a part of it - come and see what has taken place - hear just a little about what is coming. A good , old fashioned "show and tell". See you at the library, Tuesday.
