ColinTwo years ago my wife and I were out fishing with Herman. He was teasing my wife, asking if I had any girlfriends. I think he said he had four, but I may be exagerating. His smile was enormous and his wit helped my wife cope with the gently rolling swells, the gently rolling swells, the gently rolling.. Yeah, she gets seasick, but not that day!

Congratulations to a fine man and his bride!

Fig Tree News TeamCongratulations to newlweds Captain Herman Higgs and his blushing bride Laura Lewis, who were married Saturday afternoon at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church on Dunmore Street. We wish the new bride and groom many years of health and happiness! Larry Winder took a great photograph of the happy couple leaving the church. If you'd like to see the picture, just send an e-mail to Sorry for the inconvenience, but our site photo gallery is presently down for the count, and won't be running again for a few more weeks.
