TessReceived call from Natasha at Island Real Estate and from caretaker at Farcliff...all on island fine, damage is primarily to foliage, tho there is much debris. Where we are on the beach (just N of Pond Rock), erosion is minimal, dune repairs from Floyd held (Vegetation still there, but leafless), even still have tiki and stairs down to beach! Lots of shingles off, but no breach of roof. Lots of sand in house. Also spoke to Twin Air in FLL...their planes sought safe harbor in Macon GA and are due back to FLL tomorrow or Tuesday at latest. They anticipate non-stop flights back and forth to ELH soon. NAS open. Governor's open. ELH to open tomorrow.(Her info, not mine.) I know there's no peace until you "eyeball" your own property, but I hope these encouraging reports will help!
