It is unfortunate that you were disappointed by your visit to this site! Some of the banter that you found and to which you seem to be referring is not a reflection, I repeat NOT a reflection of the lovely people who inhabit Harbour Island, or the creative, hardworking people who provide us with this site! The message boards (I think) are meant to be a sounding board for anyone interested - those who post messages are not responsible for enticing new visitors! The savvy (and truly interested) new visitor to the site would certainly not be disappointed and defensive upon viewing what has been posted without their participation, but instead would post a polite and truly genuine message inquiring about the island and what it has to offer! Open your mind, change your attitude, and you will be pleasantly surprised at the gracious response.
