It is a shame that you all were treated this way.
I suppose it is up to them as to how they do business however no one needs that treatment.
As for myself......we've never had such an experience at Pink Sands and found EVERYONE to be absolutely wonderful on the property. I'd be interested to see a the manager respond here.
: Just wanted to let everyone know how poorly we were treated over the Christmas holiday by the manager of the Pink Sands. My wife and I are regulars on the Island (my family has owned a house on the island for the past 15 years, and we also help rescue island dogs).
: We had just ordered drinks at the indoor bar and went to play a game of pool/billiards, which we always do when we visit the bar. However, on this occasion, we were told by the manager that we were not permitted to play because we were not staying at the Pink Sands. He would not give us the pool cues and said that we absolutely could not play, no exceptions! (but of course, it was OK for them to take our money for drinks at the bar). Obviously, we cancelled our drink order and told the manager that this is not the friendly island way to treat visitors, not to mention regulars. All of this over a game of pool!!!
