You're correct - my opinion is just one. But if you take a look at the postings for the past week, you'll see that there are a number of people who also have just one opinion each. Only one, "captain bob", (and I do agree with some of what he said) offered any weak support for you. However if you look at his posting on the Abaco board, you will see that he did no favor for you. He suggested that the people on that board check the Briland board to see what you were talking about when you made an almost incoherent posting on their board.

Your words:
"Abaco Board:

The Briland board wants to leave. Am I welcome here?

Partyman "

I do like to have fun and I enjoy a good comedian but I could not have fun at the expense of others and you are not funny when belittling others.

You often talk about having fun, humor, and "spicing up the board". I have some questions that I would like to pose.

Arthur Dawon from Pakistan sent his "GREETING FROM A DISTENT LAND"to the Briland Board before Christmas. His greeting was one of love and friendship to the people of the Briland board (not bored). You hopped on him, rudely telling him to use a spell checker before posting. Sure, he miss-spelled some words, but he communicated his message effectively, even in a language that was foreign to him. Go back and read his posting - it was on December 15.

Was your posting fun for you?
Do you seriously believe that your posting was humorous?
Did it add any "spice" to the board?
Was this a "friendly post"?

On December 22, Ann posted a message inquiring about a house on the North end of the Island. She gave the owner's name and the name of his cook. Your response to her was that she didn't give YOU enough information for YOU to help and also she should "give to the bored and not just take". Knowledgeable people understood her question and gave her the information that she wanted.

Do you seriously believe that your posting was humorous?
Did it add any "spice" to the board?
Was this a post that would encourage future participation from Ann?

Jamal Johnson posted a message describing his services. In the most disgusting post that you have ever made on this board, you ridiculed him and told him to go away for a couple of years and then maybe he could play in some obscure place. This board was created for Jamal and the other people of Harbour Island and North Eleuthera. It was not created for your cruel humor.

Are you really proud of your initial post to Jamal?

You went over to the Abaco board this past weekend and one of your first postings there was to tell Abacowilly that a photo that he posted was not lighted properly. Your exact words:

"Try to get better lighting for your photos.

Keep this is mind for future postings. "

Who do you think you are to tell him how to post - he's posted on the Abaco board more than a couple of times. He was successful in communicating an idea with a photo and you, in a effort to be "smart", missed his whole point. The rest of the participants in the thread didn't miss his point. They thought that he did a good job. Only you had criticism. They were having fun without anyone being hurt or intimidated. Yes - I know that they are not a timid lot and can take care of themselves without my intervention if they feel threatened by you. In this case, your post did no harm and my point is simply this - did you accomplish your stated objective(s) with this post or do you just look foolish?

Some of your posting are hurtful to their targets and most are intimidating with a few that are entertaining. From some of your postings, I get the impression that you are not a mean person and don't intend to harm or hurt others but never-the-less you do. It is certainly not my call, but I believe that you have worn out your welcome here and I respectfully suggest that you exercise more care and consideration for the feelings of others where-ever you go to do your posting.
