AOL did have a Nassau number. I don't know what it would cost vs. stateside. Remember, you have to find someone with a phone to let you use their line!!!! Not always easy.
: Yeah, AOL used to have a local POP in Abaco, but it's no longer in service. The dialing rate for AOL into the States is 80 cents per minute. Island Services is a small business center in the middle of town that can also help you check e-mail [at about $1/minute] if you don't really want to cart the laptop with you.
