Interesting fact: There has only been one recorded shark attack on a diver in Bahamian history. All other attacks involve baiting, chum, feeding etc.
What you need to watch out for is the barracuda.
Last year, a 'cuda attacked a snorkeler off of Tarpum Bay. The thing took a chunk out of a poor guys torso and leg.
