The ORLANDO SENTINEL says today that United Airline's parent company has agree to sell three regional airlines, including Piedmont (USAirways Express) to Atlantic Coast Airlines Holdings. This clears the way for United's planned purchase of USAirways. The 4,300 employees of the commuter companies are protected from layoffs for three years. Atlantic Coast Airlines operates as United Expresss in the East and Midwest and as Delta Connection in the East.
I wonder what this means to North Eleuthera and Governor's Harbour Airports?????????
