Cat Island, as most of you know, is remote and very community centered.
The PM actually does take the moral high ground. (Although the clown on this board that was jabbing me with the abestos thong might not think so.)
An American couple opens a resort on Cat Island. Although they do mention 'nudity' on their site and in their promo materials, it was, without a doubt, more hedonist than advertised.
The people of Cat are very spiritual and superstitious. Their skill set and interpretation procedures are quite different than that of the U.S. upper middle to upper class WASP who is into being naked with strangers and has a penchant for partner swapping.
The Cutlass Bay Resort / Meet-Meat Market was deeply offensive to the islands constituents as it affected the core of what they believe to be morally sacred.
Violence and intimidation are not the fairest tactics. However, and my sources tell me, that the Cutlass Bay owners dealt with the locals in a cavalier and condascending manner. Aside from that, if there was a drug trade happening on Cat I will bet my last Kalik Gold on a 98 degree day after eating grouper fingers totally tricked out with bird pepper sauce and having run 5 miles with no water that Cutlass Bay patrons were good customers.
