And Just because the Bahamas was quick to cave doesn't make the U.S. bullying of the Bahamian's right to sovereignty less of a long-term issue. The Isles of Man and Jersey are doing just fine harbouring wealthy illegal fugitives and political criminals, too, but you see them standing their ground. Ditto St. Vincent and Barbados, which is the rest of the Caribbean is so upset with Nassau right now. How much money do you think exchanged hands to make this deal fly anyhow?
