Another picture perfect Monday is upon us the skies are filled with partially cloudy skies, the temperature a warm 85 degrees farenheit, the winds calm, only a light breeze, earlier we experiences some scattered showers, early in the day. The remainder of the day seems to be shaping up quite nicely, little chance of additional rain in sight. Another great day for the beach and the outdoors.

The St. Annes annual school Fair was held this past weekend in Rock Sound Eleuthera, a silent auction was a new feature at the fair this year. The fair is in aid of raising funds for the St. Annes catholic school. The school is seen by many Eleutherians and foreigners as the best private education place for young primary school aged children, the school is very well attended and supported by the community of Eleuthera.

Today is a sad day for us, our relative in Palmetto Point, Mrs. Winnie Bethel passed away, lost a bout with Cancer. We wish her well in the afterlife of heaven and will meet her again on the other shore someday.

Weather

Today is shaping up to be another picture perfect sunny day. The clouds are high and puffy white, clear no chance of rain in sight, the weather a warm 85 degrees today. Have fun Eleutherians on the beach and in the outdoors. Today is a great day for a party out doors.

Local Sports

Eleuthera Basketball got underway in Tarpum Bay, Eleuthera again lastnight, unlike Tuesday night Rock Sound won Tuesdays score when Tarpum Bay won was 83 to 63, rock sound won lastnight over Tarpum Bay with a 10 point lead to that victory. Tarpum Bay contends that this defeat was due to several of its key players missing the game for various reasons. Eleuthera Basket ball starts up again with another night of basket ball between Tarpum Bay and Rock Sound in Tarpum Bay, don’t miss it, its going to be an exciting game.
