Thanks for your comments. You're absolutely right about everyone's right to their own idea of paradise. Spanish Wells is a one-of-a-kind experience, as are most of our communities. By the way, the Briland board's NOT just for Harbour Island. We're interested in news, issues, questions for the rest of Eleuthera as well, and North Eleuthera in particular.
The Briland Modem Fund is working in tandem with local government all over Eleuthera -- in Governor's Harbour, Gregory Town and Bluff -- to develop community computer centers there, and the terrific tech support for all of the centers is courtesy of Donald Sweeting of Spanish Wells.
