We were planning a vacation to HI in October and thanks to this site found out even though our hotel is open everything else pretty much shuts down. Can anyone tell me what November or early December is like (weather??) and which would be preferrable? Would like to go early Nov. but would like to experience the restaurants/bars/clubs and shops in town. Will they be open? Thanks for any advice.
