My name is Devon Sawyer and I am the DJ at Gusty's, and me working there for three years wow guns at Gusty's I don't think so.
Here a little bit of info of what happened.
I was just about to change a song, when the Officer came into my booth and said to me "turn the music off there is a fight outside and I thought I saw a gun"
So I did what he said,which in turn quickly emptied Gusty's.
Now speculation is flying from all points of the compass, "there was a gun in Gusty's". All over the island this little rumur is going around, which is normal peolple want to here about a gun in a fight not a CELL PHONE. Yes it was a cell phone the officer confirmed this with Gus and I.
Like I said earlier I have been a DJ at Gusty's for three years and in all those years this type of stuff has never happened. Also since I have been hired to work there over the years Gusty's has been getting more and more popular every year.
I think it's because people here about the good times and the great atomosphere and the great owner and his wife, who only want the best for there customers. This is a very new experiecne for them, and they are dealing with it I think the best way they can.
This is what I think, ' this stuff comes with popularity, because I see many different flavors of minds coming there now.
On behalf of Mr and Mrs GUS Lewis we hope that this does not damper any spirits about coming to Gusty's and having the best time of your island life.
