I've taken frozen steaks, roasts, hamburger, and breakfast meats on many occaisions and have had no problems. Customs asks if the items are for personal consumption and with the reply of yes,they let me right through. I've also taken frozen gallons of skim milk. I have kids and have run into "sorry no milk this week" more than once. Customs has seen the frozen gallon jugs in the cooler with no comment. I'm still not sure on whether that's proper or not. Fresh fruits and vegies are not permitted; lots of fresh stuff available there, and the usual canned vegies are available in all stores, just a little more expensive than at home.
