Not as close to Man Island as it is to N. Eleuthera. No, they were not OK - they had been adrift for too long, were disease ridden and dehydrated. Brilanders took care of them as well as possible, but word is that they had been turned away at several points along the way.
The watercraft is still out there and visible, half-submerged.
I'm sure there are other others out there with more info - this is all I know.
