Not sure if you are looking for casual observation, but, here goes...
I'm not familiar with areas south of Governor's Harbour, but north of there, James Cistern seems to have a resident population of "roaming" and breeding potcakes. Every time I go through that area, there are always several dogs cooling themselves in the sea. Hatchet Bay has a smaller but breeding population and Gregory Town has a small breeding population, as well. Never really noticed any around Bogue, and I'm not really familiar enough with the Current area to have noticed any roamers.

: the feasibility of bringing to Eleuthera the spay/neuter program that has been very successful in Abaco. Our intention is to do the Abaco Air Fri-Sun round trip out of Marsh Harbour, rent a car and look around. Plan is for this to be done in October.
: Any input from this board as regards your perception of the "roaming" potcake (and potcat) population would be welcome.
