I was just amused by your "soap box lecture" about where and how vacationers should spend their time and money when I remembered your dissertation on how you received such good service at the Pink Sands. It's also your privilege to express your opinions on your "soap box". : : As a matter of fact, your staying at the Pink Sands probably resulted in more money staying in The Bahamas than if you had stayed in a house. The overhead of operating and maintaining such a resort is tremendous. When they pay their staff and all their other expenses, there is not a lot of excess profit remaining to leave the country with the owner. Almost all of the overhead costs are paid to local people and local businesses. For the economy, we need all the hotels and resorts and houses also. The downside is that more visitors will come. That is good for the local people but not good for the long time visitor who would like to keep Briland a secret. Just remember, PM, your choice is your business and my choice is my business and I'll remember that you can express your opinions freely if you do so in a polite and courteous manner.
