Colin-

I really hope that you are right. Fast food operations do not have a problem invading smaller communities. Especially if their goal is to establish a long term brand.

Are there any local authorities that could confirm if space has been leased to Pepsico?

KFC could never replace a freshconch salad at the dock and hopefully never will.

: Is this a red herring or a soon-to-be fried chicken? Surely there is note enough business on the island to make a KFC viable. Surely there are too few people hungry for fried chicken much worse than the worst effort I've ever tasted on Briland. Surely Bahamian cooking and culture have not been so undermined by American dreck that this could come to pass.

: Head to the churches and to the government center if there is the slightest hint of truth to this.

: Pray this is another ha ha from he who shall not be named.

: Colin

: : It has been brought to my attention that a Kentucky Fried Chicken may open near Valetine's.

: : Who is the franchisee? Is this really necessary? I guess it was inevitable that fast food would hit Briland.

: : Is KFC branching out to any other out islands? Are there any other corporate behemoths standing by to invade Briland too?

: : Stay Tuned.
