There will come a time when we, the Bahamian leaders of tomorrow, will have a fork in the road and choices will have to be made. Will we become a reflection of yesterday or will we learn to say yes or no as we please. Is it not now time for the politicians of yesterday to receive a wake up call from the doctors, lawyers, teachers, and leaders that this country has produced in an age of prosperity for our country? We need to unite as a people and not look poorly at our youth. If we continue the cycle of electing men and women who “knew someone” to get into office we will continue to see and hear the bickering of the politicians. I say all this knowing that, yes there will always be an opposition, and no, life will not be perfect for everyone, but if we don’t want to become the US Bahama Islands and lose what little independence we have left, we need to wake up. In order for us to keep the tranquility of our family islands and the prosperity of our major cities, we need to encourage the students and parents of these students to continue in there efforts to better themselves in order to better improve our country for future Bahamians.

Shadow.
