Do people come to YOUR neighborhood and say "HEY! let's get rid of all the cars!" How dare you assume that ANYONE has the right to make such a suggestion! I think the point that all of us miss is that while the island is OUR paradise and we want it to be as pristine and beautiful and as perfect and innocent as it was when we first went there, to the people who live there it's just where they happen to LIVE , though I don't doubt that they all know how special a place it is- Hurricane Andrew showed them that! Mr Malcolm speaks more knowledgebly than ANY of us who don't live there, but I feel that his comments speak more of the political problems in his adopted land and therefore are more reality based than the "Hey! We don't want our paradise tainted like it is where WE live" B.S.! Yeah- take the cars away from the people who live and work on the island but HEY! CAN WE STILL KEEP OUR GOLF CARTS??? It is all too much! No one seems to object to the island having computers-YET!!!
