American wasn't flying as of last April/May, they cancelled service after Club Med didn't reopen after Floyd.
US Air does return from GH to Miami, stopping in N.Eleuthera in between.
When flying in from Miami on US Air, all passengers get off the plane and go through customs in GH. Then those continuing to N.EL get on the plane, joined by new passengers returning to Miami, and fly to N.EL. The N.EL arrivals get off, and more passengers returning to Miami from N.EL get on. Then the plane flies to Miami. And sometimes the luggage comes a day later because the plane's too heavy. It's complicated, but you can get to Miami from GH.
