Am trying to find information on great-great-grandparents: Benjamin
Richard Albury [born Sept. 11, 1811] who married Sarah Curry [born
abt. 1810] April 20, 1838 in Harbour Island, Bahamas. Their marriage
is in the 'Registry of Marriages in the Parish of St. John's Harbour
Island in the year 1838 Marriage Number 167' (records now in Bahamas
Archives, Nassau).
We have been unable to find out the parents of either Benjamin Albury
or Sarah Curry. If anyone has any of this family information I would
greatly appreciate you getting in touch with me. Would be willing to
pay to get a copy of the Registry of Marriage.
Benjamin and Sarah's children were: Sarah Elizabeth [1839], Euphemia
[Dec. 15, 1844], Richard [1847], Alonzo [1849] and Elizabeth Pearson
[May 16, 1842]. All were born probably in Spanish Wells.
