As a graduate with a masters in transportation planning I feel funding dollars should be used to study the needs and implentation of a city subway system above ground like in downtown Miami. A rail implementation plan should be created.

A well planned system could feed Central Nassau with the Airport and western areas, the southern section of the island (via over the hill), and The eastern parts of Elizbeth Estates and Fox Hill.

One of the points I learned most while studying for my masters degree in Transportation policy at The New School in New York City was that the creation of larger roads and the directional system of one way streets vs. two way strets was that larger roads created space for more vehicles and directional routes facilitated "speeding vehicles".
