Good Luck! You're in for a blow, at the least, but NHC just dropped the projecteds to 85 from 105...every little bit helps! And the path is ever so slightly more northerly (I'm reaching, here, for any positive changes!). Anne and Paul Hagens must have come over with ya'll Friday. They will be hunkered down over on the beach...if you can, tell them we're watching, praying, etc. and will be there next Monday, God willin'!

: : Kimberly and Sharon arrived on Harbour Island on Friday afternoon, just in time to catch the latest maneuvers of the almost-over hurricane season. Preparations around the Harbour Island and North Eleuthera area began in earnest on Saturday afternoon in anticipation of Hurricane Michelle. The mailboats have been moved over to Spanish Wells for safekeeping, most homes and many businesses are just about boarded for the storm, and folks are looking out for each other to make sure that there's an adequate supply of water, fuel and basic drygoods. The community feeling around town is that of quiet watchfulness.
