Sharon's still down there, and will be for another ten days or so. Frankly, I had a blast , much to my mother and husband's chagrin! I hadn't been in a hurricane since the two-fer summer of 1979, when Hurricanes David AND Frederick hit Savannah GA, with me working in Charleston SC just a half-hour north. Everyone was calm, cool and thorough in their storm prep, and Ben Bethel deserves the 'Man of The Year' award for taking care of no fewer than ELEVEN houses. Brilliantly.
