Water was out on Harbour Island after Hurricane Michelle passed through for approximately half a day. Power was out for about 24 hours. Mark Saunders of Water & Power and BEC Chris of the Bahamas Electric Corp. did an excellent job getting the island's utilities back up and running. The one thing not yet in place is telephone service off of the island to any other island or overseas, which Batelco indicates will be fixed by Wednesday.
