Hi, guys --
You're going to have a great time, and won't even really notice that a storm passed through. Minimal damage all around. As for Harry O's, it's on Bay Street north across the street from the Burns House liquor store, and just beside Queen Conch [another excellent lunch or dinner choice, as their scored -- prnounced 'scorched' -- conch is the best on the island. Harry's offers great grilled grouper, lobster and butterfly shrimp; cracked conch; grouper fingers ... accompanied by corn on the cob, coleslaw or homemade fries. You can grab a beer or wine at Harry's, or wander across the street for something stronger from Elke at the Burns House. The Native Boys [descendants of the original Percentie Brothers] play calypso there from time to time as well, which is an incredible experience. Harbour Lounge should be open by the time you get there, with Judy still in charge as manager but to all reports under new ownership. The Landing's still the coolest choice for dinner. The Harbour Island Marina has a brand-new restaurant on site, called 'Hammerheads' which is a chain in Nassau. The jury's out as to whether they can actually cook anything, as we went to their opening reception last week but were only offered an interesting fish dip with crackers, meatballs on a stick or french fries to sample from. No matter what, sunset at the new marina is still a must, though. And if you're doing your holiday shopping, John Bull is having a 75 percent off sale that lasts another week ...

Talk at ya soon --
Kimberly
